Internal Create a New RT Ticket

  • To create a new support request ticket in the Customer Support queue, send or forward emails to "general@support.grandcare.com"
  • Commands are supported in the email body, see: https://github.com/bestpractical/rt-extension-commandbymail
  • The subject will be the subject line of the email
  • Set the requestor in the body of the email. In the top line of the email, use this format: requestor:email@address.com or else the requestor will be you.
  • The body is parsed for a system ID (must be in 314-xxxxxx format), so make sure there is a system ID in the correct format near the top of the body - either the top line, or if there is a requestor, then system ID should be in the second line.
