Residents can add and edit events from the Touchscreen. Caregivers can add, edit or remove events and appointments from the Care Menu or by using Touchscreen Emulation.

Step 1: Event Basics


Step 1: Event Basics

  1. Press the Select a Type of Event button to select the type of event. Events can be either Calendar Events or ToDo Items. Select the type of event you want from the drop-down list.
  2. Press the Event Date button and select the starting date from the mini pop-up calendar. You can select a future date for a future Event or a past date for an Event that started in the past but is repeating.
  3. Press the Event Description box to bring up the on screen keyboard to add a description for the event. The Event Description is required.
  4. Press the Next button to continue.

Step 2: Event Time

  1. If your Calendar Event is an all-day event, press the All Day Event check box. To-Do Items do not have this option.
  2. Press the Start Time button and select the the Event's start time from the drop-down list.
  3. If you are adding a Calendar Event, press the End Time button and select the the Event's end time from the drop-down list. To-Do Items do not have this option.
  4. Press the Next button to continue.

Step 3: Event Repeat

  1. If you would like this Event to repeat, press the Event Repeat button and select the proper repeat option from the drop-down list.
  2. Events can repeat forever or until a certain date. Press and uncheck the Repeat Forever checkbox if you would like the Event to have an end date. Press the End Date box and select the proper date from the mini pop-up calendar.
  3. Press the Next button to continue

Step 4: Event Reminder

  1. If you are adding a Calendar Event, you can have an on-screen reminder pop up at a set time before the Event starts. Check the Show pop-up Reminder box and press the button to selct when the reminder should pop up from the drop-down. To-Do Items automatically show a pop-up reminder, so this option is hidden for them.
  2. If you want the reminder pop-up to sound an alarm tone, check the Play tone for Reminder. Press the Select Tone button and select a tone from the drop-down list. You can press the Play button to try the currently selected tone.
  3. Press the Next button to continue

Step 5: Optional Details

  1. Press the Event Location box to add an optional location for this Event.
  2. Press the Event Notes box to add any optional notes for this Event.
  3. If you would like to make any final changes to your Event, press the Previous and Next buttons to scroll through the edit pages. Press the Save Event button on the last page to save your Event.
  4. A window will appear to confirm that your Event has been saved. Press the OK button to close.
