To search RT tickets for a specific system by the ID number:

* Click on "Tickets" in the menu bar
* Click on "Tickets" in the menu bar
* Click "New Search"
* Click "New Search"

To search Request Tracker tickets for a specific system by the ID number:

  • Click on "Tickets" in the menu bar
  • Click "New Search"
  • Click the "Advanced" link
  • In the text field labeled "Query" enter: 'CF.System ID' = '314-000xxx' substituting the system ID for the xxx
  • Click the "Apply" button, which takes you to back to the Ticket search screen
  • Click the "Add these terms and search" button to conduct the search
