Tools to Bring to an Installation

• Laptop or iPad
  
• Mobile Router (such as MiFi, to make sure you can reach the Internet and continue setup, even if the home Internet is not set up)
• Double-sided Tape
  
• Screwdrivers (including a small Phillips-head)
  
• Flashlight
  
• Power Strip with Surge Protector
  
• Labels and Marker (for labeling sensors)
  
• Hammer and Nails (in case you want to mount a system to a wall)
• Extra Batteries
  
• Wireless Router (in case they have Internet and a computer already plugged in, and they need a wireless router to allow the GrandCare system to be added to the network)
  
• Ethernet Cable (in case they already have a router, and you need to plug in to it)
  
• Extra Sensors
  
• Extra Antenna (Z-Stick, etc.)
  
• Lamp Module (for Z-Wave installations)
  

Be sure to take notes during the installation, e.g. where each sensor is, so you can troubleshoot remotely.
