About the Device


The system supports two blood pressure monitors: A&D Medical brand, Model UA-767 Plus BT and Model UA-767 Plus BT-Ci. The UA-767 Plus BT-Ci model requires additional pairing to be performed. These devices communicate via Bluetooth, and requires a Bluetooth antenna. They also require a cuff, which is available in three sizes, small, medium or large. (See the Supported Hardware List for the currently supported cuffs.)

Identifying Device Model

Both BP Monitors display their model on the front face of the device.

  • If your device reads "UA-767 Plus BT", you have the UA-767PBT BP Monitor.
  • If your device reads "UA-767 Plus BT-Ci", you have the UA-767PBT-Ci BP Monitor.



Adding the Device

In order for the device to send readings to the system, the device must be configured on the system.

  • Log in to the Online Care Portal
  • Open the Care Menu
  • Open the Wellness module
  • Click the "Add New Device" button
  • Give the device a descriptive name
  • Select the proper device (A&D UA-767PBT BP Monitor or A&D UA-767PBT-Ci BP Monitor)
  • Click the "Next" button
  • Enter the device Serial Number (found on a sticker on the bottom of the device)
  • Enter the device Bluetooth ID (10-digit number found on a sticker on the bottom of the device, e.g. 00A0960D7944)
  • Click the "Finish" button

Pairing the A&D UA-767PBT-Ci BP Monitor

The A&D UA-767PBT-Ci BP Monitor requires an additional step to complete pairing of the device.

  • First verify that the batteries are removed from the BP Monitor
  • At the Touchscreen, press the Settings button
  • Enter the 4-digit System PIN (which is set, and can be viewed, on the Advanced Settings screen in the Care Menu.)
  • Press the "Devices" button
  • Press the BP Monitor in the Devices list - the BP Monitor Details Screen will appear
  • Press the "Pair Device" button
  • Follow the directions on the screen: insert the batteries into the device, watch for Pr to display on the device display, then press "Start Pairing"
  • Wait while it pairs - you will see a "Success" message when it is complete

Assigning the Device

In order for readings to be assigned to the appropriate loved one, even when there is only one loved one, the device must be assigned.

  • Log in to the Online Care Portal
  • Open the Care Menu
  • Open the Wellness module
  • Click the "Options" button
  • Click the "Assign Devices" button
  • Select the Blood Pressure Cuff, then click the "Next" button
  • Select all of the loved ones who will use this device, then click the "Done" button
  • Click the "OK" button

Troubleshooting

  • Make sure you have inserted and configured the Bluetooth antenna correctly
  • Make sure you have entered the device Serial Number and Bluetooth ID correctly
  • Make sure that this blood pressure monitor is not configured on any other systems within Bluetooth range
  • If using the UA-767PBT-Ci model, try performing the pairing steps again
