Safety Precautions
- Read the safety precautions carefully and thoroughly. All cautions and warnings on the equipment or user manuals should be noted and adhered to.
- Keep the user guides that come with the system and each peripheral for future reference.
- Keep this equipment away from humidity and high temperature.
- Keep this equipment on a reliable flat surface, safely back from the edge of the surface.
- Make sure that the power voltage is within its safety range before connecting the equipment to the power outlet. The equipment must be connected to a grounded socket-outlet.
- The vent on the system and some peripherals is used for air convection and to prevent the equipment from overheating. Do not cover the vent.
- Do not leave the equipment in an environment with uncontrolled temperature or humidity, which may damage the equipment. The system and peripherals should not be stored at a temperature below 0 degrees C (32 degrees F) or above 60 degrees C (140 degrees F). The maximum operating temperature is around 40 degrees C (100 degrees F).
- Never pour any liquid onto the equipment that could damage or cause electrical shock. Do not use or store the equipment where it might be subject to drips or accidental spills. Never immerse the system or peripherals in liquid.
- Place the power cord in a way that people are unlikely to step on it or trip on it. Do not place anything on the power cord.
- Always keep strong magnetic or electrical objects away from the equipment.
Batteries
- Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly replaced. Follow instructions for correct battery installation and replacement.
- Replace only with the same or equivalent battery type recommended by the manufacturer.
Call Service Personnel
- If any of the following situations arise, have the equipment checked by service personnel:
- The power cord or plug is damaged.
- Liquid has penetrated into the equipment.
- The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
- The equipment does not work well or you cannot get it to work according to the user manual.
- The equipment has been dropped or damaged.
- The equipment shows obvious signs of breakage.
- There are no serviceable parts inside the computer system or any peripherals. Do not open any of the equipment or attempt to service it yourself.
